Hi, I am Zoe, the owner of Coastguards Tearoom in Fairlight. We are now into our 11th year, yes we know - it's gone that quickly!
We started out with a simple tearoom menu. After a few months we added our tasty breakfasts, which we serve daily until 12pm. Our selection of specials slowly grew and we even invested in a chip pan to keep everyone happy!
We added our beautiful conservatory, which overlooks the stunning views of the Hastings Country Park. As Coastguards is a short walk from the coastal edge, we have wonderful views of the sea and, on a clear day, even the coast of France!
We are one of the very few local establishments, which welcome dogs all year round, whatever the weather - even the soggy ones! We even have our own residents; 9 year old Albie & 6 year old Millie! They may greet you with a woof but they are very friendly and expert scroungers, although we'd rather they weren't!!
In January 2018 we were awarded This England's Finest Tea Roooms Award. Our customer's support continue to strive us forward and we are extremely grateful having received this.
In Feburary 2015 we had a defibrillator installed thanks to The Fairlight Community First Responders. This is available for everyone to use in case of emergencies and can be found next to our garage door on our driveway.
We are supporters of the British Heart Foundation by selling crafts, knitting patterns and other items with small donations going straight to the chairty.
